More nursery ideas! I thought this bird idea was really cute, but couldn't find any of the design at my craft store. Went with the hearts instead (gotta love decorating for a little girl).

91: Wall art for the hubby
While it's been over 6 months since we furnished my husband's apartment, there is still nothing on the walls. He is not bothered by this, but given that I will be moving there for a few months soon, I decided to make at least a little something for the lonely walls. I saw this pin and loved the idea, particularly as this is from a special song for us. Kind of fun, huh? I'm linking the technique for transferring lettering too, that's been an awesome trick.

90: Baby name sign 2
Technically I've written about a project like this before, but my friends keep having babies! And if I complete a project that takes most of the afternoon, I figure I can give myself credit for it. Welcome baby Audrey!
89: Gender reveal photo
In the facebook age, we wanted to find a cute way to reveal our baby's gender to family and friends we weren't able to tell in person. We liked this idea, and it was a fun way to also post an updated baby belly photo for people we don't see much. People seemed to like it, but who doesn't like baby announcements (in moderation)?

Another use of an old sweater- a quick and easy ear warmer!

87: Sweater purse
I finally decided to clear out some of the old sweaters I've held on to for an embarrassingly long time. So, new project material! This one was fun, and fairly easy. Plus, I didn't really have any winter purses, so we'll try this one out. I particularly liked picking up a new trick for box corners, so nice!

86: String wall art
This was my first attempt at using this fun wall art idea, ended up kind of cute (even if it's very small scale at this point). Thinking of new ideas for the next step...

85: Paint dipped cans
What to do with leftover tin cans? Dip in paint and now they're cute utensil holders! I will admit that this was my second try at this. In effort #1, I tried drying these upside down and found that they dripped down the side of the can. Whoops! Using a few rubber bands, I devised a way to let them dry while hanging, worked pretty well!

84: TP roll flowers
This linked blog has a lot of nice looking toilet paper roll wall art designs. I decided to start out small with some flowers, potentially to be used in the nursery?

83: Baked apples with oatmeal streusel
Umm...yummy and easy! I made this with no butter (replaced with mostly applesauce and some oil) and half the sugar and flour, and I found it delicious! A good go-to dessert using fruit.

82: Delish broccoli
I like broccoli, my hubby won't touch it. So while he's away I'm trying to discover a can't-resist broccoli recipe. This one is definitely high up there. Can't go wrong with olive oil, garlic, and parmesan added, you know? I ate this whole batch myself! (Gotta love pregnancy appetite)

81: Lasagna chicken rollups
I have about 3 boxes with 2-3 pieces of lasagna leftover from a full traditional lasagna recipe. Saw this and thought it would be an easy way to use up that lasagna. Turned out yummy! Though I think I might try ground beef/turkey instead of chicken next time.

80: Twine jar candle holder
Always looking for some cute centerpiece or mantle ideas and had some twine around, so tried this out. Kind of cute! I need to collect a couple more jars to add to the collection, then remember to actually light the candles some time.
